Those labels always bring on my complainy face, too, but it’s for the best that they warn us. Definitely don’t eat those foods – it’s just not worth the risk.
I actually write to companies and thank them when they put labels like that on; it is SO MUCH MORE PREFERABLE to be warned than to have companies pseudo-lie to us with labels like “no gluten-containing ingredients”, which means nothing useful at all if it was rolled around in flour prior to packaging.
Personally I think it’s a cop out so they no longer have to take the precautions they would to label something ‘suitable for coeliacs’. Cheaper productions lines…

That’s the only plus side of being super sensitive… I KNOW I can’t eat them
