Goodbye for now!

Hi all,

This is just a note to say thank you to everyone who said nice things to me about my cartoons over the year that I have been drawing them.

I’m afraid I’m retiring this website for the moment. I will leave it online for as long as the kind fellow who provides my web hosting is happy to, but I will not be making any cartoons for a long while.

You can still see all the old cartoons by clicking on the archives link on the left.

The reason for this is because I have a very busy year ahead in which I am getting married, moving abroad hopefully to France and finding a new job over there. As I am already quite a busy dad to a 1 year-old something has to go.

So for now this is farewell and thank you once again for your generous readership!

My name is Howard and I am a celeriac (quite a few people say coeliac instead).

I am actually in Information Technology and I do some of that kind of stuff in my day job, but when I have a spare moment I like to draw things.

I wanted to paint a slightly more light-hearted picture of the whole coeliac disease and general food intolerance nightmare that so many people go through. This is because I am not a serious person. I don’t take anything seriously. I apologise if you think this is not a laughing matter but this isn’t a serious apology.

For those of you who would like to know I use Photoshop to draw my stuff on a Windows machine of course.

So here it is – my life in cartoon form. I hope you find some of it vaguely amusing.
