Goodbye for now!
THIS IS AN OLD POST – I have been having site issues today please ignore!!
Hi all,
This is just a note to say thank you to everyone who said nice things to me about my cartoons over the year that I have been drawing them.
I’m afraid I’m retiring this website for the moment. I will leave it online for as long as the kind fellow who provides my web hosting is happy to, but I will not be making any cartoons for a long while.
You can still see all the old cartoons by clicking on the archives link on the left.
The reason for this is because I have a very busy year ahead in which I am getting married, moving abroad hopefully to France and finding a new job over there. As I am already quite a busy dad to a 1 year-old something has to go.
So for now this is farewell and thank you once again for your generous readership!
Take care,
Howard
Congratulations! Have always enjoyed your cartoons. I’m getting married soon as well – guess we’ll both have the adventure of planning a gluten-free reception! (Or at least the cake)
All the best for the future and thank you for illustrating the ups and downs of coeliac life with such humour!
Thanks Howard, really enjoyed your cartoons & I will miss them!
Best of luck with your new life & keep well clear of those baguettes, remember crumbs get everywhere!!
Thank you so much for your great cartoons (and for drawing some of my ideas!). All the best in your travels. Many thanks. Richard.
You will be missed! But best of luck for the future! x
Good luck in France, Howard. From my experience they are in denial about anything unusual in the way of dietary needs. However, they will happily remove meat from a soup for a vegetarian, or add breadcrumbs at the last minute to a seafood starter that was otherwise celeriac-friendly up ’til then!
Wishing you all the best for your new adventure.. but gutted the cartoons are stopping for now! Hope you find the time in the future to write again.. in the meantime thanks so much for all you cartoons :0) We love them! Love PERK!ER xx
We’ll miss your cartoons!
We’ll miss your cartoons! Good luck in your new home and job. Do come back to drawing again soon – we need to keep spreading the gluten free revolution and at least making people laugh does so in a subtle way! Love Gluten Free Guerrillas
